Hello folks;
Well it has been a long time since I posted. Been busy. Mainly because me and the wife have a new puppy! His name is Prince, and what a real power house. He's three and a half months old, and is quite the character! What a ball of energy! What unique mixture of lineage as well. His mother is part Dalmatian, and St, Bernard. His daddy is part Bull Dog, and I suspect German Shepard judging by the looks of his snout.

So here we go again, Potty training and puppy pads all over the house, and chew toys everywhere. Wouldn't ya know it, it has rained a lot, like cats and dogs (excuse the pun) and Prince has been running all through the puddles of water (and mud) every time I take him out to potty. Well, even old salts like myself smarten up sometimes. So I 've been putting the leash on him here of late when he goes out to do his business. What a good doggie though. rarely does he bark, and (like me) he hears everything!  Been training him to lye down, sit and come on command. He's getting the hang of it.

Still, it is a joy to once again have a dog in the house. Some of you may not know that we lost out first dog that Darlene and I had almost three years ago. Princess was a complete Joy to have around. She was sweet as can be, and I know she is warming the hearts of angels in heaven even as we speak. Now the Lord has blessed us with Prince, her long distant cousin; and sometimes I can feel Princess and our late kitty cat, Miss Bee, romping and playing with Prince when he runs to the back of the garage where they are resting. Whelp, gotta go. Its 7:20pm, and I think Mr. Prince has to go do his business, and then eat his dinner. Oh yeah, I have to feed the wife as well. A Home Husband's work is never done.
